About Formula S7
Our founder, Anastasia, grew up as one of those curious kids, who constantly questioned everything. She always wanted to understand how things functioned, why things were the way that they were and challenged the status-quo. She often found herself reflecting on the world around her through deep thoughts and connections to nature. Still- to this day, she finds that the simplest things in life, which we often take for granted, are the most spectacular and connect global humanity across the universe. In launching Formula S7, she combined her love of creative art and fashion, with her passion for living a purposeful life and desire to share this with others through a new brand of designer clothing that embodies this vision. She feels incredibly grateful to have realized her life's passion so early in life and to embrace every day doing what she loves.
As a new designer, she began creating garments in a sustainable manner, incorporating - "Up-cycling" before it was a widespread practice. She credits this to her hometown of Pittsburgh, where she nurtured her artistic and aesthetic talent and was introduced to artworks by Corita Kent and Basquiat. After spending several years developing her technical and artistic skills and showcasing her work at the Andy Warhol Museum, she enrolled in the well-known FIT- (Fashion Institute of Technology) in New York City. At FIT, Anastasia continued honing her artistic and fashion talents and spent a year in Milan Italy where she was inspired by various designers who incorporated unique ways to express ideas and art into their clothing design. All of this experience led to the launch of Formula S7: an eco-conscious, playful, and expressive brand.

The signature hand-painted, printed and embroidered moral messages can be seen featured as statement graphics and hidden in the linings of jackets and pockets meant to create an uplifting, humorous mood while trying to understand how the outside reality world vs. the inside imaginative mind connects. Heavily influenced by the 90's with a sense of nostalgia, the digital age, and glamour with a re-imagining of what modern sport means, FS7 is a beautiful chaotic contradiction. From soft vs. hard fabrics to creating a protected outer shell and exposed inner self, to creating interactive designs for an element of play, FS7 focuses on details with a strategic placement of design lines.

With a love of nature, designs are organic and, yet mathematical and fabric is natural and luxurious, from leather, cotton, and silk, to velvet, sequins, and faux fur/feathers.

In our Series Limited Collection we have One-of-a-Kind designs made from leftover scrap materials, and up-cycled parts from vintage pieces and other products that would have otherwise been discarded or piled up and forgotten.

With our Made-to-Order Collection, each piece is made once the order is placed, so we can avoid over-consumption, while paying attention to detail during the production process.
We now have the resources to choose sustainable materials for our t-shirts, such as 100% organic cotton and a recycled poly rPET fabric.
Recycled poly rPET saves at least 4 plastic bottles from ending up in a landfill, or worse. All-natural organic cotton is grown and harvested without any fertilizers and pesticides. The high-quality ringspun cotton yarns make sure that the fabric is extra soft and durable.
